This year's event is taking place on 30th September and 1st October 2010 at the Crowne Plaza and St George's Hall in Liverpool, UK.This unique event is one of the highlights of the cotton calendar and we are expecting 500 guests to attend from the world's major cotton companies. A lot of business interest and networking opportunities are generated at the event, creating an ideal forum for you to promote your business.
What is included in the programme?...
The theme for this year's event is ‘Going Global' and the two-day programme will include:
- a selection of 'global' presentations - including: a US industry update from Jordan Lea - President, ACSA; a look at Turkish market conditions with Ertugrul Tanriverdi - Vice President, Ensar Tekstil; an insight into some of the global sustainability issues that confront our industry from Chris Brett - Senior Vice President, Olam Europe and Abi Rushton - Ethical and Sustainable Sourcing Manager, Tesco Clothing
- a chance to network and focus on the international business of cotton with leading industry professionals
- a networking drinks reception on Thursday and a networking lunch on Friday
- a gala dinner and drinks at St George's Hall on Friday followed by
- a post-dinner celebration at the Crowne Plaza with refreshments and entertainment
How much are the tickets?...
The ticket price has been kept the same as 2009 - only GBP £220 (+ £38.50 VAT) with a discounted rate of GBP £200 (+ £35 VAT) for ICA Full Members.
Please note: Full Members will need to input a special code number when registering to qualify for the discount. This number has already been sent via email - please contact us if you have not received it.
How do I register?...
Online registration is now open. This new online registration system will enable you to make and pay for individual and group bookings. Click here to register and simply follow the step-by-step process.
What if I need accommodation?...
We have teamed up with the Liverpool Convention Bureau, who will handle all hotel reservations. A special allocation of accommodation has been secured at the conference hotel - the Crowne Plaza. The Crowne Plaza will obviously be a popular choice and we recommend early booking in order to avoid disappointment. You will be directed to the hotel booking service as part of the online registration process or you can access the service by clicking here.
What if I need a visa support letter?...
As part of the online registration process, you will be able to request a Visa support letter. All you need to do is complete the details on screen and we will send you your support letter as soon as your booking is confirmed.
