Whether involved in growing, spinning or trading cotton, 'Complete Cotton' is a fantastic opportunity for individuals from the cotton community, or those new to the industry, to gain an insight into every aspect of the raw cotton trade.

What is Complete Cotton?

Complete Cotton is a 10 day training programme that focuses on key areas of the raw cotton trade - from growing cotton to spinning it and everything else in between. It provides a unique opportunity to learn about the cotton industry from some of the world's leading professionals.

Who should attend?

Complete Cotton is aimed at individuals of all ages from within the cotton community - including cotton producers, ginners, exporters, merchants, agents, importers, spinners and other allied trades.

What is included in the programme?

Complete Cotton incorporates 17 training modules - all delivered by industry experts. Each module is designed to be interactive, providing you with practical experience and an opportunity to share best practice with the presenters and other delegates.

The modules include: Cotton Production and Ginning; Creating a Cotton Contract; Banking and Finance; World Cotton Markets; Global Trading (China, India and the US); Futures and Options; Risk Management; Logistics and Control; Cotton Spinning; Retail Perspective; Quality Testing and Arbitration; History of Cotton and Liverpool; Role of the ICA; Social activities.

When and where is Complete Cotton taking place?

Complete Cotton runs from 23 April - 2 May 2012 at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel, UK. The hotel is located in the heart of Liverpool city centre, within walking distance of the major tourist attractions. The programme commences with a welcome reception for delegates on the evening of Sunday, 22 April 2012.

What is the cost?

For ICA members or employees of firms registered with the ICA the cost is GBP £2,500 (+VAT). For non-members the cost is GBP £3,000 (+VAT). This price includes your training and training materials; the cost of accommodation at the Marriott Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis (from Sunday, 22 April 2012 up to and including Wednesday 2 May 2012); lunch and refreshments on working days; the cost of visits and transport between events during the training programme. For delegates who do not require accommodation, the cost will be reduced by GBP £980.
