‘Enforcement working groups’ are now in place for Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam and thanks to joining forces and the group’s efforts, we are already seeing some success.

The aim of each group is to help parties enforce ICA awards by providing local knowledge, information and best practice, as well as building up a database of legal contacts.
“Undoubtedly, one of the major challenges we face, is around the enforcement of awards,” says our President, Mohit Shah. “We believe that by having the working groups in place and adopting this type of ‘joined up’ approach will have a major, positive impact on the industry over the coming years.”
