Princess Anne to open our landmark trade event

Her Royal Highness Princess Anne is to officially open our ‘Liverpool 2016’ trade event, which takes place next month.

The opening ceremony on 20 October at the Titanic Hotel will mark the start of our annual two-day trade event, which brings together more than 500 delegates from the global cotton community.
“This year’s event will be an extra special affair,” says ICA President, Jean-Marc Derossis. “Not only will it be opened by Royalty, the event will also be a celebration of our 175th anniversary, which is a significant milestone for the ICA, its members and the entire cotton trade.
“We are honoured and delighted that The Princess Royal has agreed to officially open the event. It is an immense privilege, especially at such an important moment in our history.”
With plenty of networking opportunities and presentations from leading trade figures, Liverpool 2016 provides an ideal opportunity for the cotton trade to come together to do business and focus on current industry issues. The event will culminate with a closing gala dinner at St George’s Hall.
