Keeping you up to date with everything that is happening at the ICA

Quality Matters to Karachi

Sixty-two delegates successfully completed our new, Quality Matters training course last month in Karachi, Pakistan.
Jointly organised by the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) and the ICA, Robert Jiang (ICA) and Derek Tanner (DAT Arbitration & Consultancy) delivered the two day training course on 5-6 December. All elements of quality matters, classing, testing, claims and resolution were covered in an interactive atmosphere.
Speaking after the training, Robert said: “I was pleased to be part of such an interactive, enthusiastic workshop on quality and related issues in Karachi. The delegates showed their business acumen and many in-depth topics were discussed and scrutinised. This was a good opportunity for all participants to understand and learn more about ICA and ICA Bremen’s services. Participants were also kept up to date with the latest ICA Bylaws & Rules, good trading practices and benefits of joining the ICA member community. I very much appreciate KCA’s cooperation and organisation which made this event run smoothly and successfully. We will continue to proceed with our ‘Outreach programme’ in other parts of the world.”
