Global Platform Head, Louis Dreyfus Company
Joe is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the Louis Dreyfus Company. He is the Global Platform Head of the Group’s merchandising platforms which consist of cotton, coffee, orange juice, metals, dairy and finance. Joe is also the Chief Executive Officer of Allenberg Cotton Co. Joe graduated from Dartmouth College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and the same year joined Louis Dreyfus Commodities as a grain trader in Minneapolis. In 1982 he transferred to Allenberg Cotton Co. and in 1985 assumed responsibility for cotton trading worldwide. Joe is active in several cotton industry associations and is a past Chairman and serves on the board of directors of the American Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA). Joe is also the long-time chairman of the Futures Committee of ACSA. He is also on the board of directors of the National Cotton Council of America.
COO RCMA Group
Jonathan has 30 years commodity trading experience with investments in milling, refining and handling of sugar and ethanol. He established RCMA Sugar, a leader in white sugar containerized trading, after joining the Singapore-based rubber trading company as COO in 2012. He started his career with Cargill in 1985, where after six years in non-grain feed ingredients and the US grain business, he joined the sugar division in Geneva. Jonathan spent the next 21 years in different trading and management roles, and is credited with building that business into a leading global sugar industry player. Jonathan holds an M.Sc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Managing Director, ICA & ICA Bremen
Kai’s career in cotton began in 2000, when he joined the then Liverpool Cotton Association as General Manager after a career as an officer in the Royal Navy. In 2003 he took on the role of Director of Legal Services and Governance at two UK universities before returning to the cotton industry in 2008 as Managing Director of the International Cotton Association (ICA).
In addition to his ICA role, Kai is also the Managing Director of ICA Bremen and CEO of the newly formed ICA Mutual Limited, the ICA’s own mutual insurance company.
Kai has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a BA (Hons) in Psychology. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a trained mediator.

Anthony Hilton was Financial Editor of the Evening Standard and now serves as the paper’s Senior Commentator, and had the same role at The Independent. An author, broadcaster, lecturer, and a Wincott Financial Journalist of the Year. Anthony has also served as a non-executive Director of insurance and publishing companies.
Joining Fleet Street as a trainee on the Guardian, Anthony served in New York as Business Correspondent for the London Sunday Times and City Editor of The Times before joining the Standard.
Anthony makes regular television and radio appearances, commenting on the international money markets and the state of the economy. He also assesses the outlook for investments, the pensions crisis and corporate governance.
CEO, Forum for the Future
Sally is Chief Executive of international sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future, whose mission is to create a sustainable future. This involves working with leading global businesses such as Unilever and Target, both in one to one partnerships, and also in multi-stakeholder collaborations to create system-wide change.
Sally serves on advisory boards for leading global organisations including Kingfisher plc, Kimberly Clark, and the C+A Foundation. She contributes to a wide variety of titles from Management Today to the Huffington Post. She speaks regularly at international events on diverse topics such as future trends, sustainable business, and scaling up for system change.
